Judi Valentine grew up hanging out in the woods and climbing the mountains of Maine. She received her Master's Degree and a Ph.D. in nutrition science and practiced clinical nutrition for twenty years. Her science articles were published in D.C. and Maryland. Once retired, Judi moved home to Maine and enrolled in master's writing classes in fiction, revisiting an early passion for writing. She has since published five adventure novels for young readers.
